Navakhana Festival attributes the rice crop harvest. It is celebrated annually according to the Hindu month of Bhadrapad or Bhadav that is in the month of September.

The festival is held in the region of Chhattisgarh in India. Before the family idol, liquor and new harvested crop is offered by the people. Communal dance is organized at night.
