The Pittsburgh Folk Festival was commenced in 1956 with 17 nationalities with an aim to present the diverse culture of Pennsylvania people by elevating their unity in cultural diversity. It is celebrated in May month in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the United States.

The three day ethnic festival showcases art, craft, dancing, food and music. Currently there are over 30 nationalities and cultures that are represented during the event.
