Why do we celebrate Wonderfest?

The Wonderfest Festival promotes the recognition of science and the understanding of public. It is devoted to the memory of Carl Sagan. Tucker Hiatt who was a high school Physics teacher. He started the event in 1998. It is a free annual event that takes place annually during the first week of November. The festival is held for two days in the San Francisco Bay Area in the United States.

It is a science event that presents controversial topics of scientific such as related to psychology, astronomy, biology and physics by a series of expert dialogues. It also features the Bay Area Science Expo where artists and crafts people show their science stuff.
