The World Ozone Day is celebrated for the Ozone layer preservation. It occurs annually on 16th September worldwide since 1995.

Numerous programs and activities are organized in schools and several institutions to spread awareness about the depletion of the Ozone layer. By using less vehicles and planting plants and trees one can save the depletion of Ozone layer.
