Why do we celebrate Heartland Pagan Festival?

The Heartland Pagan Festival is celebrated with a mission to bring well known musicians and speakers to offer workshops on a large scale variety of subjects. It was started by the council of the South Winds in 1986. The group of Pagans gathered together to discuss about their disparities and to teach about their varied paths, traditions, cultures and practices. A Special Memorial Day service is also held to honor those in service who have fought to attain freedom for the United States.
